Charles Bérauld du
Pérou (1737-1792) was one of the Jesuits who were killed when the French
Revolution turned into a rabid anti-Catholic persecution. Bérauld du Pérou
studied at the famous Jesuit school in Paris, Louis le Grand. He taught in
Pont-à-Mousson until that school was closed. He may have joined the Eudists
and was arrested at their house in Paris.
