Secretariats

Social Justice and Ecology

The Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat assists Father General in developing the apostolic mission of the Society in its dimension for promoting justice and reconciliation with creation. The Secretary for Social Justice and Ecology establishes collaboration between apostolic sectors, paying special attention to the social apostolate.

Service of Faith

The Secretariat for the Service of Faith advises Father General on the main issues that the Society must address in the Service of the Faith. It collaborates with the other Curia Secretariats to animate the service of faith in all apostolic sectors, while also supporting the work of Spirituality, with particular attention to the ministry of the Spiritual Exercises.

JRS is present in 56 countries worldwide, serving over 677,800 people. JRS’s priorities of reconciliation, education, livelihoods and advocacy draw from the holistic vision of our founder, Fr.
