Our thanks to Fr. Tomasz Kot who sent us pictures of Father General’s first hours in Lebanon. En route to the Bekaa, the group stopped to pray at the grave of Father Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, former Superior General.
Fr. Kolvenbach was also from the Netherlands and had dedicated himself to the mission in the Middle East, where he returned after his generalate. Also, a photo of the meeting with the Jesuits of Taanayel.
The portrait of the Jesuit martyr Nicolas Kluiters has a prominent place in the community.
