Spiritual exercises, meditation and zen meet in Lassalle-Haus

In the heart of German-speaking Switzerland, in Bad-Schönbrunn, the Lassalle-Haus spiritual centre welcomes those who want to advance on the inner path that suits them. The Jesuit Province of Switzerland has been running this centre for almost a hundred years. It has sought to bring together Christian traditions, in particular the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius, with some of the Eastern spiritual traditions. Architecture and nature contribute greatly to creating a favourable space for prayer and meditation. This approach is well suited to today’s Swiss cultural context. The director, Tobias Karcher SJ, talks to us about the paths to God proposed by Lassalle-Haus.
