During his short visit to the Province of Slovenia, from 24th to 27th October, Father General celebrated the 50th anniversary of the creation of this Jesuit Province (see our article). The theme of the visit was “The 50th Anniversary and its Relationship to the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society”. He explored how to relate local and provincial perspectives with the insights which guide the universal Society of Jesus.
The Jesuits and friends of the Society gathered for the Eucharist at the parish of the Incarnation of Christ in Ljubljana. To them, Father Sosa emphasised the centrality of discernment, a core theme in Ignatian spirituality.
