The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network Launches Redesigned Website

The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (PWPN), a global spiritual community uniting Christians around the Pope’s monthly prayer intentions, has unveiled its redesigned website at popesprayer.va.

The updated platform places design, clarity, and ease of use at its centre as it aims to guide users through prayer themes, resource materials, and daily prayer practice without placing any strain on users. “The goal is simple”, explains Father Cristóbal Fones, SJ, International Director. “The new website aims to help people find what matters quickly and clearly.”

A Streamlined Structure

The website is organized around three primary menu sections, each serving a distinct purpose:

MISSION provides an overview of the PWPN’s identity and introduces its International Team. A key element is an interactive map displaying the Network’s presence across countries, allowing users to explore national teams, access local contact information, and visualize the organization’s truly global reach.

PRAY centres on the Network’s core mission. This section features the “Pope’s Monthly Prayer Intentions” and the “Offering Prayer”, alongside key initiatives including “Click To Pray” and “The Pope Video” – all designed to support and amplify the Pope’s prayer intentions worldwide.

INVOLVED outlines concrete ways individuals, communities, and groups can participate, inviting them to join in prayer for the challenges facing humanity and the Church’s mission.

The website also provides dedicated sections for Resources, News, and Donations, creating a comprehensive platform that integrates prayer, information, and opportunities for participation in one accessible location.

A Mission Beyond Prayer

“The PWPN is more than just a network of prayer”, Fr Fones emphasizes. “It is a mission to live the Gospel daily, transforming our world and our lives through a global community drawn together toward hope.”

Available in five languages – English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and French – the website extends its reach to diverse audiences worldwide. The PWPN, a Pontifical work entrusted to the Society of Jesus, continues its mission of gathering Christians, as a network of people, to address humanity’s greatest challenges through prayer guided by the Pope’s intentions.
