San Marcellino, where life begins again

San Marcellino has always been close to the poorest of the poor - accompanying the vulnerable and helping them to regain confidence in their own abilities, care for themselves, and start their lives anew. Founded in 1945 to support the Genoese who had lost everything to the war, San Marcellino has focused on the homeless since 1985.

For these ministers, the path to rebirth is marked by acceptance, patience upon patience, and essential recognition of "the other." At the heart of the work is the prayer of operators and volunteers.
