Father General Arturo Sosa is visiting the Province of Bohemia, whose borders coincide with those of the Czech Republic. In two university towns, the Jesuits give priority to the accompaniment of university students. We asked two Jesuit chaplains to tell us about their work.

It is the smallest Jesuit Province in the world, with 38 Jesuits. It serves a highly secularised country, the Czech Republic, which has a rich and complex history and is comprised mainly of two regions, Moravia and Bohemia.

One activity of Fr General Arturo Sosa’s visit to the Province of Venezuela was his prayer meeting with young people. This took place in Caracas on Wednesday, 28 June. The meeting was organised by the Office of Youth and Vocations, supported by a group associated with a number of pastoral ministries.

Although the RAIG is a recent creation, the interest and work oriented towards the Amazon region has been going on for years in some of the Jesuit works that are part of it.
