Nicholas Verron (1740-1792) was one of the Jesuits who were killed when the French Revolution turned into a rabid anti-Catholic persecution. Father Verron taught at Louis le Grand in Paris, and then was in the Netherlands between 1774 and 1778. A year later he returned to Paris and served as chaplain to the Sisters of St. Aura until they were forced from their convent by the revolutionaries.
