Being with people – Knowing a country or region – Lithuania
In May, Fr. General visited the Province of Lithuania, including Latvia. The province has just over 30 Jesuits primarily involved in the educational apostolate within three schools: two in Lithuania and one in Latvia. Father General had the opportunity to visit the two Lithuanian institutions in Vilnius and Kaunas to tour, celebrate the Eucharistic, and address the assembled communities. In his talk, Fr. General highlighted the meaning of the Universal Apostolic Preferences and the opportunities that the UAPs bring to the Society of Jesus and her partners.
