Building the future with migrants and refugees

World Day of Migrants and Refugees 2022

Every year since 1914, on the 4th Sunday of September, the Church celebrates the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. This is an opportunity for Pope Francis to express his concern for the vulnerable people who are forced by various circumstances to leave their homes and seek refuge in other places.

Take a look at the photo essay prepared by JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) on this year’s theme: Building the future with migrants and refugees.

You are also invited to read Pope Francis’ message.
