Contest “Four Dreams” – Special Prize: Spirituality

In addition to the Grand Prize awarded to a production from Lebanon in the competition organised by IAJU (International Association of Jesuit Universities) and the General Curia of the Society of Jesus, a “Special Prize” was given for each of the themes.

All four themes had a direct connection to the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society:

Showing the way to God through the Spiritual Exercises and discernment;
Walking with the poor, the outcasts of the world, those whose dignity has been violated, in a mission of reconciliation and justice;
Accompanying young people in the creation of a hope-filled future;
Collaborating in the care of our Common Home.

Manuel is a young man from a humble family who was born and raised in one of Cordoba’s most underprivileged areas (Spain). He has been an active participant in all of Puerta Verde’s projects since his childhood.

Don Miguel, the parish priest along with the people who build up the association and its activities, guided this young man and made him see life in a different way.
