Contest “Four Dreams” – Special Prize: Ecology

Congratulations to the winners of the “Four Dreams” film competition organized by the IAJU (International Association of Jesuit Universities) and the General Curia of the Society of Jesus!

This time, the prize is related to the 4th Universal Apostolic Preference (UAP), caring for our Common Home.

Kcal, 48 years old, defines himself as a poet, musician, popular composer and book smuggler. In Recife, Brazil, he challenges the vision of development of the big entrepreneurs and the city hall who built a huge shopping centre.

They did so without consulting the people who lived on the banks of the Capibaribe River and who lost their homes. The waste dumped into the river by this monument to the consumerism of the “preppies” also threatens the lives and livelihoods of the fishermen.
