Embracing discernment for a Church in mission
The ongoing Second Session of the Synod on Synodality is an important moment for the Church as it brings together delegates from all over the world to explore paths towards greater unity in light of the shared mission among the Church’s faithful. Delegates, representing their respective churches, enrich the deliberations by bringing their experience of faith from their local contexts.
Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, SJ, the Synod’s Relator-General, emphasizes the importance of communal and ecclesial discernment towards building a Church where every Christian’s voice is heard and valued.
