John Charton de Millou (1736-1792) was one of the Jesuits who were killed when the French Revolution turned into a rabid anti-Catholic persecution. Father Charton de Millou was still studying theology when the Society was suppressed so he finished his studies in a diocesan seminary and then became chaplain to the Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament. He was a well known preacher and an excellent spiritual director.
