A gift from Canada for the Ignatian Year

Is there any prayer more expressive of Ignatius’ conversion than the Suscipe, in which the former courtesan places himself totally in the hands of the Lord (Take, Lord, and receive...)?

An artistic collaboration between the Jesuit artist Daniel LeBlond, former Provincial of French Canada, and the Quebec musician Mario Jacques, a friend of the Society, has produced a very powerful musical and pictorial work: Cantique d’abandon (Surrender). The images are mainly oil on wood paintings from a series entitled Visages (Faces), by Daniel LeBlond. Mario Jacques teamed up with Patrick Bernard for the musical arrangements, Jean-Noël Fredette as soloist, and the vocal ensemble Femmes de chœur. Four minutes of intense Ignatian prayer. [With English subtitles]
