5 November: Feast of all the saints of the Society of Jesus

We also remember the Jesuits who have died

On 1 November, the Church celebrates ALL THE SAINTS, especially all the women and men who, even if they have never been officially canonised, have lived a Christian life that led them to share the joy of the Resurrection.

On 2 November, the Church unites in prayer, throughout the world, for the departed. We take the opportunity to remember our family members and friends who have gone to the Father’s Home.

On 5 November, the Society of Jesus prays for the deceased Jesuits, brothers and priests, who since St Ignatius have given their lives to the service of Christ’s mission. We invite all members of the Ignatian family to join us.
