Where would we be if not for teachers? They give their sweat and tears to the world that is to come. The future generation is being created by these artists. Even though they aren’t many, but those who do reach out to offer a future for refugees are the ones that not only make the globe a better place, but also create the world of their students worth living.

Father General has appointed Fr. James Arjen Tete as the next Provincial of the Calcutta Province. Born in 1967, James Arjen Tete entered the Society of Jesus in 1987, was ordained a priest in 2003 and pronounced his Final Vows in 2018.
On 31 July, feast of Saint Ignatius. Father General offered a “present” to the Society of Jesus and its entire apostolic body! This long-awaited document is usually referred to by its Latin title, De Statu Societatis. In English, this translates as The State of the Society.
