Father General sends a message of solidarity and hope after Venezuela earthquake
As Venezuela begins the difficult task of recovering after two strong earthquakes that claimed lives, left many missing and caused widespread destruction, Father General Arturo Sosa has sent a message of closeness and hope to the Venezuelan people.
Reflecting on the profound human suffering caused by the disaster, he calls for unity, generosity, solidarity, with a commitment to rebuilding lives and communities that were affected by the earthquakes.
Fr Sosa also encourages people of goodwill to accompany those who suffer, and to continue to walk the path of justice, reconciliation and peace.
