Heaven’s Heart – Love in Motion

From the “Corridor of Father General” series of artwork, here is “Love in Motion”.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is borne by a Burmese immigrant woman carrying her three kids on her bicycle. Love is shown more in deeds than words as she drives her family safely through the streets of Thailand.

She invites us to learn the lesson that those at a disadvantage show us concrete examples of self-sacrifice that bring life and light into the world. Small and significant gestures of love are examples of everyday miracles in the world. God’s presence is not a romantic emotion, but an experience rooted in unconditional love.
