Father General in East Timor, through the lens of the camera

After visiting Australia, Father General briefly traveled to the Region of East Timor. This young country, with 1.3 million inhabitants, is experiencing great dynamism as regards its relationship with the Society of Jesus. The independent Region has initiated a process of closer ties with the Province of Australia. It has a substantial number of vocations, is known for its contributions to education, and actively participates in pastoral and social work with the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.

If you missed them, you can read the articles we published on the occasion of this visit: the interview with the Regional Superior, Fr Erik John Gerilla, and the report on Father Sosa’s visit to Kasait.

Today, a summary in images prepared by one of the Region’s major works, the CPA (Casa de Produção Audiovisual).
