Father General

Father General Arturo Sosa has appointed Fr. Thomas Amirtham Provincial of the Madurai (MDU) Province. Born on 25 May 1964, Fr. Amirtham entered the Society of Jesus on 5 July 1984, was ordained a priest on 19 November 1994, and pronounced his Final Vows on 29 April 2005.

In just a few days, the Congregation of Procurators will begin in Loyola, Spain and over 100 Jesuits from every continent will take part. A key moment will be the presentation of the De Statu Societatis by Fr. General, Arturo Sosa.
