Contest “Four Dreams” – Special Prize: Excluded

Congratulations to the winners of the “Four Dreams” film competition organized by the IAJU (International Association of Jesuit Universities) and the General Curia of the Society of Jesus!

This time, the prize is related to the 2nd Universal Apostolic Preference (UAP), the choice to walk with the excluded. This documentary follows a group of volunteers called “Angels of the Night,” who make daily donations to homeless people in order to provide them with shelter and food.

The documentary shows a group of volunteers called “Anjos da Noite”, making daily donations for homeless people. It is a sad and cruel reality, on the steps of the Santa Cecilia church, in the Boa Vista district, in Recife - Brasil.

The video tells the story of Conceição Rodrigues, the founder of the “Anjos da Noite”, and of three more street people who agreed to talk about their life. It shows how important the presence of the “angels” is for these excluded people and how spiritually fulfilling is to help them.
