Fr. Máximo Mendoza Coronel, the newly appointed Provincial of Paraguay
Father General has appointed Fr. Máximo Mendoza Coronel (59) as the new Provincial of the Province of Paraguay on the 21stof October 2022.
Fr. Mendoza is currently in-charge for vocations ministry and is the superior of the pre-novitiate community in San Ignacio, in the Misiones region, south of the country. In the same city he also coordinates the activities of the San Ignacio Spirituality Centre. He was appointed Provincial Consultor in December of last year. He has previously served as a parish priest, Fe y Alegría coordinator, and correspondent for the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, among other responsibilities.
He will take charge as the new provincial later this month.

appointment, Fr Gabriel Insaurralde will substitute as Procurator in his place.
