New: a blog on Jesuit vocations
On the website vocations.jesuits.global there is a new section: a blog.
Jesuits offer their reflections on various topics or answer questions that young people who are thinking about religious life might raise.
Perhaps the most appreciated feature of the site is that it allows direct contact with the person responsible for vocation promotion in the Jesuit Province or region of the world where the person seeking information about the Jesuits lives. This provides an opportunity for a personal contact to be quickly established.
Father General Arturo Sosa has appointed Fr. Thomas Amirtham Provincial of the Madurai (MDU) Province. Born on 25 May 1964, Fr. Amirtham entered the Society of Jesus on 5 July 1984, was ordained a priest on 19 November 1994, and pronounced his Final Vows on 29 April 2005.
