New Provincial for USA-Midwest
Father General has appointed Fr. Karl J. Kiser SJ, 58 years old, as the next Provincial of the USA-Midwest Province. Since 2016 he has been the pastor of the Church of the Gesù in University Heights, Ohio. He had done his regency in Peru and studied for one year at the Comillas Jesuit University in Spain. He has held various positions in the fields of education (Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy, University of Detroit Mercy, John Carroll University, St. John's Jesuit High School) and pastoral work.
