New President for the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States (JCCU)

Fr. General has appointed Fr. Brian G. Paulson, 60 years old, as the next President of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States; he will take over from Fr. Timothy P. Kesicki at a date yet to be determined in 2021. Father Paulson is currently Provincial of the USA-Midwest Province. As Provincial of the former Chicago-Detroit Province, he was actively involved in the creation of the new USA-Midwest Province with the former Wisconsin Province. Prior to exercising leadership at the Province level, he served as President and Rector of various educational institutions.
