Throughout October, we answer Pope Francis’ call to pray for the Synod of Bishops. Together, let’s reflect on the theme that permeates this significant event across the global Church: “For a synodal Church: communion, participation, and mission.”

Let us pray for the Church, that she may adopt listening and dialogue as a style of life at every level, allowing herself to be guided by the Holy Spirit towards the world’s peripheries.

Unlike past synods, this one is not about addressing a particular issue, like most synods before, but about becoming who God calls us to be as a Church, all of us together, amidst the reality of today’s world!
