Networks are a “way of life” for the CPAL (Provincials’ Conference of Latin America). Even though diverse networks have developed throughout the Society of Jesus in recent years, it can honestly be said that Latin America is the champion of this movement.

The Central American Province encompasses six countries with great cultural and human richness, but with social conflicts that have marked our history. Inequality afflicts Central America terribly.

The Servicio Social Javeriano (SSJ – Xaverian Social Service) has become the symbol of the teaching of values we offer our students. It’s the culmination of a holistic formation that they begin in infant school (for 3-5 year olds) and end before their last year of high school.

Fr. Rutilio Grande was a Jesuit of unsuspected human and religious dimensions. In his weakness he found his greatness. He spent most of his life in the silence and humility of those who, step by step, become companions of Jesus.
